On April 22, 2019, HUGHF hosted a dinner discussion with Professor Kevin Croke from the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Professor Croke shared his past work in East Africa, focusing particularly in child mortality in Tanzania and Uganda. He explained the role of external aid in overcoming health challenges in developing countries, as well as the importance of political governance in addition to access to resources. He also shared his experiences in the World Bank, NGOs, and other health institutions.
Thank you, Professor Croke!
